  • Her "Floten Escort" expresses Katzen's ability to roll metal into curvilinear forms.  The sculpture, located in a planted area raised above the shrubbery, contains a strong horizontal poured concrete form, laced with two semi-circular aluminum ribbons which extend into the environment.  The result is a straight-forward, elegant, and powerful image.  The sculpture occupies a major volume of space, while in no way detracting from the building itself.
