  • In this piece, David Novros used the ancient technique of fresco buono where paint is applied to wet plaster, creating a bond that becomes a lasting part of the architecture.  This abstract piece has hints of figurative references, such as human and seashell forms. The painting on the encompassing walls and ceilings of the two floors moves from very dark colors to bright and cheerful greens and blues.  The viewer could interpret this gradation in a number of ways.
