- Daniel Galvez created this large mural for a curved wall at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland. The painintg is a celebration of the virtues of joyful, healthy living. It depicts a variety of activities that people might engage in to enhance their health, such as spending time with friends and family, eating healthfully, and exercising regularly. The mural also includes representations of treatments that people might turn to when unwell, including traditional and alternative medical practices. The artist used his friends and family as models for the painting.
