  • Stylized painting of a lone pony express rider riding swiflty and looking over his shoulder. Originally the lobby contained two large murals, approximately eight-foot high and twelve foot wide, which were removed by the contractor on the 1965 remodel. One of these is called the "Pony Express" and was donated back to the building and incorporated into the 1983 elevator installation project. The other depicts a group of Indians watching a stagecoach in the distance and was on display in the Columbia City Council Chambers.
