  • "Logging" by Robert Kittredge, reflects the Coconino County's logging business that boomed in the 1880s.  The three loggers are loading up a wagon with logs, a pile of which is seen on the lower right.  The man in the front holds a "cant dog," a pole with a hook on one side that was used for lifting, turning and prying logs when loading them onto the wagons.
