  • This plaster panel is one of two large models of the relief sculpture intended for the Federal Office Building in Nashville,  Tennessee.  The original scultpures were to be carved in granite, however, the originals were never created. Central figure is seated female with arm extended. Smaller female figure is seated with back to viewer on proper right. Standing male on proper left has back to viewer and is holding a fish. There is a monument and a dam in the background. "State Pride" is carved in the upper proper right corner.
