The subject is an expansive landscape of Alaska with glaciers and snow-capped mountains in the background, and a bay with a cannery, fishing boats, and native vegetation in the foreground. Soaring mountains which give way to aquamarine glaciers; ice bordering on the sea; fisheries at the water's edge, and forests illustrating the economy of the area. The colors are clear and vivid, but natural in appearance. The center section is cut-out to fit around the door frame of the Judge's office.
