  • Thomas Glassford designed this abstract sculpture to serve as a visual focal-point for the pedestrian area outside the main port building.  The shape of this 32-foot-tall gilded bronze artwork resembles the root system of the Agave Americana plant, also known as the Century plant, which is a staple in the South Texas Brush Country.
