  • The dimensions given are taken from the 1971 survey form - the dimensions are for the entire mural, not each individual section.

The work is one section of a three-part mural which depicts agricultural and home activities indicative of the area, as well as some of its historical background.  There are three sections to the mural, each one with an individual title ("County Fair", "Trading", and "Courthouse Square")

Thomas Colt (chair of the selection committee) is quoted as saying of the mural, "It is the work of an extremely competent artist and is notable for its inventiveness."
