- In the plaza of the Norris Cotton Federal Building, an abstract work of art sits opposite of the classical, monolithic structure. "Facets to the Sun" is comprised of black, steel cylindrical forms placed on a concrete base. The simple shapes vary in size, from 12" to 2'4" in height. Cut at a diagonal, the cylinders rest on the base and create diagonal lines. Although the work of art is minimal and simplistic, the scultpure conveys an abstract expression of energy
