  • Commissioned by the Federal Arts Project of the Works Progress Administration (WPA), The Resources of Nature renders a mother and child before a waterfall to signify the importance of family and the natural resources of America in the country's development.  The panel was exhibited at the 1939 World's Fair in New York as an example of art produced through WPA.
