  • "Chignik Rose" is an oil on canvas that also incorporates mixed media such as walrus tusks, papier mache birds, a silk rose and a tree branch.  "Chignik Rose" hangs in the stairwell of the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, Anchorage, Alaska and was installed in 1979.  The painting measures 6 1/2 by 8 1/2 feet.
