  • Represented by a masculine figure resembling Columbus.  Weighs 200 tons. The male figure Genoa stands with his head turned towards the proper left.  Genoa's proper left foot placed slightly ahead of the proper right foot.  His proper right arm is extended out to the proper right side and rests on a carved stone sword.  His proper left arm is bent, in the crook of which rests a helmet. The proper left hand is slightly open in gesture.  The figure wears a voluminous and heavy coat.  Behind Genoa's feet, there is a dragon/lizard whose head peers around the figure's proper right leg.  The name Lukeman is engraved on the proper right side of the base.  The entire sculpture is carved from one section of Tennessee "marble" limestone.  The alignment between the large carved stone section and the granite base is fairly regular around all sides
